My Childhood Alphabet
29 stories in the dark
Collecting oneself. Like cotton or wool, carded and felted in the spin drier of memories past. Wrapping oneself up in the flowing tales of others, laboriously spun in the darkness of memories.
My Childhood Alphabet is a poetic cacophony: 29 glimpses of a childhood, staged in a completely dark room, where the sight is changed, and the senses are given a free rein. An unconventional, touching and intense theatre experience for young and adults alike, crafted in tribute to our community, poetry and the perceptive body’s inner child.

”I can’t review this performance, only try to put a rich experience into poor words. Lotus surprises me with her calm control of both body and space. She succeeds in moving in total darkness without stumbling. Her very presence is affecting. She looks one deep into the eyes and keeps a space for each audience member in her pool of memories…” – Den 4. Væg
