Arrival by bus/train
The theatre is located about a ten-minute walk away from the bus station, Aarhus Central Station and Park Allé.
Where to find us
Enter through the gate at Frederiksgade 72. Look out for our signage – especially the large banner hanging across Frederiksgade, which will show you the gate’s location.
In order to find our entrance, proceed to the left corner of the courtyard. You then walk upstairs to the first floor, where the door is open to the foyer.
When you arrive
In our wardrobe children and adults can place their outdoor clothes, bags and shoes. We lock the door to the staircase during performances.
For environmental reasons, we do not use paper tickets. Instead, kindly inform our staff in the bar of the school’s name and the grade of your class so we can register your arrival.
When the performance starts
Our staff rings a little bell when we’re ready to let you and the other guests in. A few common instructions are briefly given before we guide you to the auditorium and help you find your seats.
Please arrive in good time. Once the performance has started, entry is no longer possible.
Foyer
Feel free to use the tables and chairs in our foyer while waiting. We have two toilets at the end of the corridor towards the auditorium. Please don’t hesitate to ask the staff if you need help finding them.
Packed lunches
In case you’d like to eat your own packed lunches before or after a performance, this has to be agreed with the theatre beforehand. Please note that this is not always possible.
Lift
Wheelchair users and walking-impaired persons among the pupils are welcome to use our lift. You should always contact our staff so we can be ready to guide you and help you upon your arrival. We’ll also make sure to make room for prospective wheelchairs in the auditorium rows.
